Secure and easy to use backup for mid size up businesses

Backing up using StorIce online backup service is very secure and easy to use. After installation and setting what and when to backup the process is fully automated and will complete without any user intervention. Data is initally backed up and after that only changes are are backed up, even if they are only to part of a file.

Backup is performed in this manner:

• All management is through a central management console (installed at the customers site)
• Data to be protected is compressed and encrypted on the originating computer
• Encrypted and compressed data is transferred to the StorIce secure facility
• Only changed data is transferred
• If i.e. a 100 MB database file is selected that has only 1 MB  changed since last backup, only this 1 MB will be backed up in the next run.
• Computers will backup as long as it is connected to the internet
• No data leaves the computer unencrypted.
• Desktops and laptops can backup from any internet connection*
• You only pay for actual used data space in our storage facility
• There are no extra hidden costs in number of computers and servers
• In the local control center you decide what to backup and when, to minimize backup time
• Bare metal imaging for critical computers, scheduled update of images
• Large backups can be shipped on media from our storage facility
• The data owner is the only one holding the encryption key to the encrypted data
